I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in New Jersey and California. I practice psychotherapy from my office in Princeton, New Jersey. I hold a Master’s degree from the Smith College School for Social Work and completed a two-year Postgraduate Fellowship at the Wright Institute Los Angeles, where I now serve as a clinical supervisor. I am currently an advanced candidate at the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey, where I am training to be a psychoanalyst. I also serve as Co-Director of the Social Justice Committee and a Director on the Board.
I support individuals through a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and the stress that often accompanies major life transitions.
As a member of Princeton University’s Exclusive Provider Network, I regularly work with Princeton graduate students, offering a deep understanding of the unique pressures faced in academic environments.
I bring extensive experience from working in outpatient community mental health, inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and inpatient mental health treatment. I am also the co-founder of an outpatient group for women survivors of sexual trauma, which has been running continuously since 2016.
I practice psychoanalytic psychotherapy, a therapeutic approach that prioritizes the relationship between patient and therapist. I use myself and the therapeutic relationship to uncover and explore unconscious patterns, beliefs, and emotions that may be influencing your current life experience. The process is experiential and based on trust and safety.
My approach is trauma-informed, which means I am attuned to recognizing and understanding the impact of trauma on your life. I provide education and support in identifying these experiences, while also nurturing areas of psychological and emotional development that may have been hindered by trauma.
As a social worker, I recognize the importance of not only examining a person’s inner world but also their external circumstances. Factors such as race, gender, sexuality, ability, culture, and socioeconomic status will always be honored in the treatment conversation. Furthermore, attention is given to systems of power and privilege that keep people unwell.
I work with adult individuals (18+) who need support navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions (marriage, pregnancy, loss, parenthood, disability, aging).
I welcome LGBTQIA+ clients and strive to provide an affirming, thoughtful space where all aspects of identity can be explored safely and openly.
Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes long and occur one or more times per week. Payment is currently accepted by credit card, check, or cash. I offer sliding-scale pricing on an individual basis.
I accept insurance for Princeton University Students on the University Health Plan through Aetna. While I do not accept other insurance, I can provide a Superbill and assist with submitting claims to health insurance for potential reimbursement.

As of January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers must provide patients who do not plan to use insurance with a Good Faith Estimate before beginning treatment. The Good Faith Estimate provides an estimate of the cost for one year of therapy. This will be done via Simple Practice, a HIPAA-compliant, electronic health record and practice management system.
